Veneers

These are thin shells of porcelain which are bonded onto the front surface of your teeth to alter the shape, colour and sometimes alignment of your teeth. They do repair some preparation to your teeth however when done correctly this is usually very minimal. It is recommended that your teeth are fairly straight before having porcelain veneers to minimize the amount that your teeth have to be prepared.

Porcelain generally stays shinier for longer than composite and is less likely to chip or fracture, on average lasting between 10-15 years as long as they are looked after.
